Terry was the consummate professional from beginning to end in the process of selling our home of 43 years. She was a tireless advocate and educator, a considerate therapist in moments of despair, talking my wife and me off the ledge on several occasions, always available, responding to emails even late at night, and continually establishing perspective on every stage in the process.Terry not only honestly advised us on the problem areas in our house and what we had to do to remediate them, but even recommended painters, plasterers, an electrician, an excellent radon mitigation company, and, most importantly, an extremely competent lawyer - all of whom with which we were extremely satisfied. Furthermore, she gave us insightful advice in staging our house (the wisdom of which I came to appreciate, especially given my initial resistance to several of her suggestions).Even with all of these virtues, without Terry’s tenacity our house would not have sold as quickly as it did in a period of rapidly escalating mortgage rates. I referred to moments of despair earlier. On no less than two occasions, the deal was declared stone cold dead. And both times it was resuscitated by Terry, who refused to order the burial shroud and persuaded the buyers’ agent to reopen negotiations. And needless to say, to a successful conclusion.My wife and I will always be grateful for all of Terry’s efforts on our behalf.
